As a fully integrated pharmaceutical company Intendis has access to its own manufacturing capabilities, which are being operated in close partnership with Bayer HealthCare Product Supply.
Intendis' largest production site is based in Milan, Italy.
Intendis Manufacturing in Milan employs about 300 people in the pharmaceutical manufacturing of semi-solids (ointments, creams, gels) in about 60 formulations filled in tubes, bottles and jars, oral liquids and parenteral lyophilisates.
Technical highlights include fully automated bulk manufacturing in several production units and a maximum batch size of up to 1,000kg. Tube materials used include aluminum, plastic and laminate in sizes from 5g to 250g.
