Acne

Acne is known to take on a number of clinical forms: it may appear as inflammation or take the form of the so-called comedones acne (blackheads) or appear as a mixture of these two forms. Any successful treatment therefore necessitates the combination of various therapeutics.

Intendis provides a range of acne therapeutics. A new option in the treatment of acne, especially in its mild to moderate form, are preparations containing acelaic acid. Applied externally, either as a cream or gel, it decreases the proliferation of keratinocytes and acne bacteria and alleviates inflammation.
