Andreas Damaske new General Manager of Intendis Dermatologie GmbH

The management of Intendis GmbH announced today that Mr. Andreas Damaske will become the new General Manager of Intendis Dermatologie GmbH with effect from May 1, 2006. Intendis Dermatologie GmbH is the German sales company of Intendis GmbH. Mr. Damaske will take over from Mr. Friedrich Gause, who has accepted a position at the Diagnostic Imaging unit of Schering AG.

Andreas Damaske started his career in 1986 when he trained as an industrial clerk at Schering AG. In the years that followed he held a number of sales and marketing positions within Schering and its subsidiaries, ranging from Key Account Manager to Head of the Customer Service Center of the Diagnostics business unit and Head of Sales Force for the Therapeutics segment at Jenapharm. In February 2005 Mr. Damaske assumed the function of Regional Business Manager Europe in Global Strategic Marketing and Sales at Intendis GmbH. In this role he was instrumental in setting up the subsidiaries in Portugal and Poland – for the latter he was a member of the Management Board.
