Dermatology company Intendis opens representative office in Russia

Intendis GmbH has officially opened its new representative office Intendis Russia at a formal reception in Moscow. The pharmaceutical company dedicated to dermatology is thus continuing its strategy for global growth. ”Opening our new representative office Intendis Russia is yet another step in expanding our business in this important region”, emphasized Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Kehr, CEO of Intendis GmbH.
Intendis Russia evolved from the dermatology division of ZAO Schering Russia, the Russian subsidiary of Schering AG, Berlin. Last year the Schering AG had aggregated its dermatology business in the newly established Intendis GmbH, which commenced business on January 1st, 2005. Vladislav Uvarov will be the General Manager of Intendis Russia. He joins the company from Schering Russia, where he was head of the business units Oncology/Specialized Therapeutics and Diagnostic Imaging, as well as being Head of Sales for Russia.
”We now have a local presence in yet another growth market - which is an important prerequisite for reaching our target of becoming one of the world’s leaders in dermatology”, explained Prof. Dr. Kehr when clarifying the targets of Intendis. The company is represented in all major markets and has subsidiaries in the USA, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Austria, Turkey, Poland and Portugal in addition to the newly established Intendis Russia.
